Cedar Waxwing

While walking Teddy yesterday I spotted eight Cedar Waxwings in a tree two and a half blocks from my house. I can't tell you how exciting that was for me as I've NEVER seen this bird before. I'd thought about taking my camera with me when I left the house but ended up leaving it ... bad decision. Wanting a picture to document the sighting, I rushed to finish the walk, which isn't easy when you're walking a Pomeranian. They can only walk so fast with their short little legs. Once home, I grabbed my camera and rushed back to the tree. Luckily, they were still there and I was able to get these pictures. It made my day!
