Occupied

This is a terrible picture (I had to max out the zoom on my little camera) but I wanted to show that someone has found my birdhouse. Too bad it's not a Bluebird. I watched the bird pick up grass clippings and carry them into the house so it's building a nest.

Rising moon

I looked out the window last night and all I saw was this rising moon. It was beautiful so I sat and watched it for the next half hour.

Colors

I love the colors in this zinnia. I'd love to find another one at the nursey.

Waterfall

It's raining this afternoon so I've got water and all things wet on my mind. This waterfall is part of the FDR Memorial in Washington DC.

There's nothing going on right now so something from my photo archive today. We watched this Tree Swallow protect his house several years ago while mama bird took care of the babies inside

Any clue what this flower is called? I'd love to know. One or two grow in my yard every summer.
