Two years and still going

Today marks the second anniversary of this blog. I don't have anything special to post today so will post a photo of the same type of bird I started with, a House Finch. It's a fun challenge to come up with the photos. Looking forward to another year of it!

A beginning

I don't know why but I've decided to start a blog. I'm not a writer so it will really just be a few words and some photos.

So here goes ... we've had a little snow in the Washington, DC metro area this week, setting a 1899 snow record for a single winter season. This little fellow sums up the way many of us feel.
