Teddy enjoys a fall day

Yesterday was a perfect fall day -- crisp air and sunny blue skies -- so Teddy and I spent the day working in the yard. Well, I worked while Teddy napped in the sun or barked at people walking down the street.

Bella and the fawn's Mama

This deer jumped into the yard yesterday. We're assuming it's the Mama to the fawn Bella found yesterday. Bella spotted the deer and the two of them had a stare down for five or so minutes. It was cute. Bella showed no fear.

Prayers for Teddy

Our little Teddy had to be taken to the doggie ER last night and is fighting for his life tonight. He was diagnosed with tracheal collapse, a narrowing of the windpipe due to the weakening of the cartilage. This condition is apparently common in toy breeds like Pomeranians. The doctor wasn't very optimistic that he'd make it early today but he started showing a little improvement this afternoon. If you're reading this, join me in saying a prayer for our little Granddog.

Sir Pugsalot

Sir Pugsalot ... not his real name but what my son, who was trying to help place him and knew I want a dog, planned to call him. My husband said he's ugly and we can't keep him. Before we could make a decision, his original owner decided she wanted him back. He was fun to play with for the day he spent at our house. Who couldn't love that face!

Goofy ... the dog

Years ago, my mother-in-law tried to tell me that Goofy was a horse. We argued and argued about this until I finally wrote a letter to Disney asking for their help in settling our argument. Disney very nicely sent me a copy of Goofy's bio ... yes Goofy has a bio ... stating in no uncertain terms that he was a dog. Feeling the need to gloat that year, I cross-stitched this ornament for Mom. We had a good laugh every Christmas when it came time to hang this ornament on her tree. She's gone now and the ornament hangs on my tree now. I'm thinking about her tonight ... and still laughing.

Baby Reagan

I was going through old pictures and came across these of Reagan. I've posted several of a grown up Reagan so thought I'd share these of baby Reagan.
