As I said yesterday, the Starlings are eating all of the birdseed lately. Here's an example of where one or two birds knocked a bunch of seed to the ground and the others came in to clean up. Oh well, I guess they have to eat too.

The Starlings have been cleaning out my bird feeders every day for a month now. They did this last year for a while and then moved on. I'm hoping they move on soon. I'm going broke buying all the food. You can see a sampling of the numbers in this photo.

The Starlings have found my fruit and nut feeders and emptied them every day this week. This morning I threw stale bread in the yard so they ate that and left the feeder half full. They aggrevate me, but like the Crow, I still think they're pretty.
