When my boys were younger, we'd have a contest every summer to see who spotted the peach first in Gaffney, SC. You didn't win anything but bragging rights but that didn't seem to matter. I still enjoy spotting it. This picture was taken from a moving car so pardon the quality.
I had lunch at the Oakwood Cafe this week with Daddy and two of my sisters. The restaurant is located at the Atlanta Farmers Market (more on that later) and serves good Southern food. If you go there, be sure you look up when you walk in.
I tried for two weeks to catch this bird going inside it's house. We can hear the babies every time the bird goes inside. I'm leaving Georgia tomorrow so am happy that I was able to get this shot.
My brother took me to the city of Newnan, Georgia last Saturday to visit my oldest sister's antique mall. Located at the city square, Newnan has a beautiful courthouse built in 1828. The courthouse once served as a Civil War hospital.
I took a break from caregiving last night and went to a concert with my brother and other family members. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy it since I hated disco, but both groups were entertaining.
I had lunch today at the Chick-Fil-A Corporate Headquarters where my brother-in-law works. Truett Cathy (Mr. Chick-Fil-A) has a collection of old cars on the first floor. This was one of the cars.
