Georgia's Brown Thrasher

I spotted this Brown Thrasher hiding in the woods on my spring trip to Georgia.

Hungry squirrel

This squirrel must have been hungry. In just a matter of minutes, he had almost finished whatever he was eating. He was pigging out.

Unwelcome visitors

My husband found this little family while cleaning out a closet last night. Mama let us take a few pictures before she'd had enough and jumped at us in the box. I won't tell you how loud I screamed and how quickly I ran away. He took them outside and let them out behind the shed. Hopefully they found shelter elsewhere.

Bee balm

I tried planting bee balm this summer. It looked pretty at first but you should see it now. This picture was obviously taken early on.

Monarch visits

Not seeing many butterflies this year but this Monarch butterfly visited the lantana over the weekend.

White-breasted Nuthatch comes back

I haven't seen the White-breasted Nuthatch at my feeder since the winter months. Yesterday we had two visit the feeders.
