Feeding time for Manassas eaglet

I could only see the Manassas Eagle in my lens so was happy to find out I had captured this picture of it feeding the eaglet tonight

Manassas eagle watching today

Spent some time at the Manassas eagle nest today. I had been watching this one in the nest for a half hour when it called its mate home.

It took less than one minute before I saw the other eagle fly in and join it's mate in the tree.

It was pretty cool to watch! I expect to see an eaglet or maybe two in a few weeks.

Manassas Eagles have an eaglet!

Well, I haven't seen an eaglet yet but I stopped by the nest yesterday and witnessed the parents feeding something in the nest. Then I watched one of the eagles as it carefully waddled into the nest as it sat down. I've watched enough eagle cams to know what that means!
